In the service industry, many behind-the-scenes operations often go unnoticed. Here at GBrands, many of our operations would not be possible without the hard work of our Operations Manager, Zack Koah.
Zack was one of the first employees of the company and has been with us for almost 7 years. He originally started out as a cleaner on the construction crew and over time, took on more responsibility and became a Field Supervisor and eventually an Operations Manager. Zack has seen some challenges with the change in his role, but relies heavily on his team that he trusts and can count on them to get the job finished.
He is now involved in the behind-the-scenes operations of both janitorial and construction services.
As the Operations Manager, Zack wears many hats with GBrands. He does quality control for janitorial and assists with estimating projects as well. Zack also handles operations such as employee training, customer service and scheduling. This guy can do it all, which is why he has earned the nickname "Robo Zack" around the office, according to our Vice President, Matt Gleim.
In an interview with Zack, he said that his favorite part of working for GBrands is the different aspects of the company he is involved in which keeps it interesting. "Working my job here never seems to get stale. It’s not just showing up to work to do the exact same thing every day and I really appreciate that."
Overall, Zack has enjoyed his transition into Operations Manager. "I enjoy working with our field supervisors and helping them in any way I can to get the jobs finished. I enjoy the team aspect that we have. There are some jobs that are difficult, and I like when we can collaborate and come up with solutions."
Zack's commitment to his job is what makes him a reliable manager. His self-motivated work ethic is what makes him the epitome of a GBrands employee and we look forward to seeing Zack's career progress.
